Passionate about music from a very early age, siblings Marie and John have brought to their latest music project all their influences - from 60s/70s classic rock to 80s synth-pop and 90s metal and alternative rock, adding a splash of folk , new age and classical, creating what can only be described as a truly unique sound.
The mastermind behind all this enthralling music is John. A talented guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from an early age, and mostly self-taught, he has played lead guitar for many rock bands, forming his first band with Marie back in the early 90s. After moving to Sweden, he then became a member of various local Swedish bands before deciding to concentrate on his own projects.
British-born John Symeou still lives in Sweden and is currently working on more compositions, writing songs for Violet Eternity, where he occasionally takes lead vocals too, as well as composing instrumental tracks as a sort of soundtrack for Marie's historical fantasy novels. His ultimate dream is to write movie soundtracks.
Vocalist/lyricist Marie Symeou still resides in England, where she writes fiction, screenplays, poetry, songs. Two of her novels have recently been published. AGE OF DREAMS, a coming of age tale of love, fame and addiction set against a backdrop of the 1980s music biz, and FROZEN IN TIME (Blood of the Gods, #1), the first of a historical fantasy trilogy about an Ancient Greek vampire.
