Marie's memoir is out now!

Whilst still grieving after the loss of her father, cat lover and author Marie Symeou decides to rescue a kitten from an animal shelter. But it turns out that the beautiful kitten actually rescues her. Well, in fact, they rescue each other. Inspired by her new muse, Marie decides to write an inspirational memoir sharing her memories of her beloved cats both past and present - her soulmates. At times uplifting, yet often quite sad, this is an honest account of the author's battle with depression and other inner demons that have tormented her throughout her life, and how she found true self-worth and healing through the unconditional love of her amazing cats. A must read for cat lovers, and anyone who appreciates and acknowledges the incredible bond that exists between pet and human. AMAZON UK AMAZON US AMAZON DE

OK, we know that we haven't been updating this blog much, but we've been busy working on some new songs and should be getting them recorded soon. Plus, we have various other creative projects we are involved in. Marie has been busy promoting her books and is also working on some new ones. And then there is life to be getting on with as well. Marie's Book Tour

Marie is currently on a book blog tour for her historical fantasy novel FROZEN IN TIME (Blood of the Gods Trilogy, Book 1)

Check out the schedule HERE

And here's the book trailer in case you haven't seen it before. The soundtrack is by us and will soon be available to download.

Update

Thought it was about time we posted some news.

Things have been a bit quiet lately. John had to move home which left no time for writing and recording. Plus lots of other stressy stuff and life just getting in the way as usual. However, he is back writing and recording some new material. Hopefully we'll get some stuff together and release an album soon.

As for me, I've been really busy promoting my two novels AGE OF DREAMS and FROZEN IN TIME (Blood of the Gods Trilogy, #1).

That's been taking up a lot of my time, plus I'm busy writing the second of the trilogy and a screenplay. This leaves hardly any time to concentrate on my music, but I do try because I can't give up my main passion in life! I've written some new lyrics which I hope will fit in with our new tracks.

Thanks for reading (and hopefully listening),

Update

Hi there,

Can't believe it's February already.

Not much to blog about, other than we are still writing and recording at the moment. John is busy over in Sweden composing and recording backing tracks, while Marie is stuck in England working on the lyrics. She is also writing a new novel as well as trying to get an agent and publisher for the one she's just finished. Then there's all the promotion for both projects, so that's taking up a lot of our time too.

Have a great weekend!

Music & Vampires

We are writing many songs based on Marie's vampire novels with the idea of making a concept album, a kind of soundtrack to the novel. Some of the songs are uploaded on our MySpace profile.
